Mahalo nui loa to everyone who supported us and helped make our Ho’ike & Concert Fundraiser this past Saturday such a huge success! We sold almost 500 tickets and raised $5000 for Uncle Randy through this event and had a wonderful time doing so! Here are a few photos from the evening taken by the talented Glenn Asakawa.
This Concert and Ho’ike (dance showcase) will feature the beautiful vocals of Josh Kamuelaonapuaokupanihi Chang and performances of traditional Hawaiian Hula that highlights & celebrates the legacy of Kumu Hula Randy Kaulana Chang.
Keaka O Kalani and NoCoHula Studio are local Hawaiian and Polynesian Dance schools that have been connected with the teachings of Kumu Randy Chang. We are excited for this opportunity to give back to our teacher and mentor. All proceeds will go towards covering Kumu Randy’s medical expenses due to health complications last year.
